ColourPop are notoriously known for their affordable and amazing quality lip products, so it was a big thing when they released the No Filter Concealer! The first base product they ever made and it went down a storm. I ordered two in different colours to see how they perform and I’ve been putting them to the test for a while now.
Packaging
So the No Filter Concealers come in a clear plastic tube with the ColourPop name and No Filter Concealer in chrome silver along the tube. The applicator comes pulls out with a plastic white lid. It feels light but not bad quality at all. But seriously ColourPop, a white lid on a concealer!? I am constantly wiping this as its forever concealer stained!
Formula and colours
The formula is quite a thick consistency and comes in a large variety of colours which is good from a first release from a company that has only just ventured into base products. They have 15 colours in the range and I have the shades 10 Fair Neutral and 15 Light Neutral. There is one in shade number 5 which is lighter than these two.
The one thing I will say, and I’m not the only one who has found this, is that these oxodise quite a lot on application! My advice would be to go the shade lighter than you expect to be. To be fair the two shades I have are fine for me when applied, but I may go for the lightest one next time!
Application and coverage
So these apply with a generously sized flat on both sides doe foot applicator. The thick formula is just right to provide decent coverage and blend well. I put one triangle under each eye and blend with my beauty blender, followed by a bit extra lower down along the line of my very nice eye bags. Two coats of triangle application is too much and it has a tendency to crease this way, but by doing it my way I’ve found just the right amount. I also apply it down my nose and over my spots and it blends in a treat.
Lasting Power
It lasts so well and usually out performs my foundation by the end of the day! Very impressed with these.
Cost
These are only a small $6 which is great but beware of customs when ordering with ColourPop to the UK! Check out my post on ordering to the UK here if you still aren’t aware.
Overall
I’m really impressed with the formula of these and would definitely repurchase more No Filter Concealers next time I make a ColourPop order, but remembering to go with the lightest two shades! They’re a bargain and last well and it’s a shame we can’t get them easily here. The amount of product you get (4g) has lasted really well for me too to say I’ve been using it for a good two months now.
