We all have that one scent that reminds you of summer, the perfume you associate with the warmer months and the sunshine. It makes the seasons that little bit more special when you can pinpoint it with a smell and whenever you get a whiff of that smell you’re transported back to that time. The scent for me this year has to be the new Ghost Sweetheart Forever Perfume*.
The Sweetheart range has to be my favourite of the Ghost products as I love sweet perfumes. Anything sweet or florally with a hint of citrus are my go to scents and now Ghost have made the Sweetheart range even better with the new addition of Sweetheart Forever.
Sweetheart Forever is a mix of my very favourite scents as it’s what’s described as a floriental fragrance. It contains notes of delicate rose and white flowers, with an oriental woody note with fruity cassis, zesty orange and delicate lychee top notes.
The combination of these notes together creates a beautiful yet uplifting fragrance that’s just the right amount of sweet and floral and not too sickly sweet. Definitely subtle enough for the day with an extra spritz to take you into the night.
The bottle itself is a stunner – frosted glass with rose gold detailing surrounding the signature white Ghost branding. The clear lid reveals the rose gold spray top and the slender bottle looks so lovely and feminine.
I’ve decanted some of my bottle into my atomizer so I have it in my handbag with me at all times! I find the initial spritz is strong enough that you can smell it on yourself which for me is great as I hate spraying a perfume and not being able to smell it, I mean I buy perfume because I like it not anyone else!, but it’s not so strong that it’s overpowering and makes you feel queasy.
This is hands down my favourite perfume Ghost have bought out and it immediately became my favourite Summer fragrance this year! It’s even overtaken Bronze Goddess which is saying something!
I would highly recommend this perfume to anyone that enjoys sweet (but not too sweet) and floral fragrances. It’s very affordable yet good quality and is in such a beautiful bottle you can’t go wrong!
