The dreariest month of the year is finally over and I swear it feels like its been the longest month ever?!
Usually in my monthly favourites post I’m shocked at how fast the month has flown by, but it feels like January is dragging on forever, does anyone else feel like this?
After Christmas I’ve had a few new products to try out which have made it into my regular routine as I’ve vowed to try out new things regularly this year.
Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish
I picked up a gorgeous Liz Earle set before Christmas and fell in love with Cleanse and Polish again. I’ve used it everyday since Christmas to remove my makeup and it feels like I’m in a spa every night. It’s such a luxurious product that makes removing makeup a pleasure and anything that does that is a miracle worker for me!
Liz Earle Instant Boost Tonic
This is named a tonic but it’s used like a toner – applied on a cotton bud after cleansing. It has a pleasant scent and feels so lovely and refreshing on the skin. Since using it my skin has visibly improved.
Glossier Coconut Balm Dot Com
Whenever I’ve been at home having no makeup days this has kept my lips moisturised and tasting good all day long. Granted it needs a few re-applications but you need such a small amount each time that it is still lasting me ages. You can get 10% off your first order with Glossier here.
Too Faced Sweet Peach Comfort Matte Foundation
I reviewed this in full here but in short this is a lovely lightweight matte foundation that has decent staying power and I’ve been reaching for it so much this month.
Jouer Powder Highlighter in Citrine
I got this in the Beauty Bay Black Friday sale (you can see the full haul here) and I’ve started reaching for it so much this month – the pigmentation is lovely and it creates such a gorgeous yet subtle glow on the cheeks.
ColourPop She Pressed Powder Palette
Since I started reaching for this palette this month I’ve realised there are so many colour combinations you can create with these shades! The mixture of mattes and metallics is perfect and I love all of the shades in this palette.
So that’s what I’ve been loving this month! What have you been enjoying? I’d love to know in the comments below!
Thanks so much for reading!
