lookfantastic Advent Calendar 2019 Contents and Review

Warning – contains spoilers.. It’s the most wonderful time of the year.. Dare I say the C word so early on in October, but it’s time to look at one of the best advent calendars in the beauty world – the lookfantastic Advent Calendar 2019*. This is worth a whopping £420 for only £79 for 25 products – that’s over 5 times the value! So if you don’t like spoilers, don’t look any further as I’m going to reveal whats inside.

Packaging of the lookfantastic Advent Calendar 2019

The packaging of the lookfantastic Advent Calendar 2019 is a gorgeous sturdy box, in matte navy blue with rose gold geometric detailing. The doors open up at the diamond bearing the branding, to reveal 25 different size boxes that open up like drawers. Each item is covered in thick navy tissue paper to prolong the surprise even more, and most of the items have a little information sheet with them.

Morphe 9A Always Golden Palette

The first box you open is a nine pan Morphe 9A Palette worth £12. I bloody love palettes so opening a palette, Morphe no less, on day one was such a lovely surprise. It’s a really sturdy feeling palette with really wearable neutrals; browns and golds.

Molton Brown Fiery Pink Pepper Bath and Shower Gel

Molton Brown Fiery Pink Pepper Bath and Shower Gel in a very generous 100ml that’s worth £10. This is a gorgeous luxury shower gel and a great inclusion in the calendar.

Rituals The Ritual of Ayurveda Dry Oil for Body and Hair

This Rituals The Ritual of Ayurveda Dry Oil for Body and Hair is a 50ml size and worth £11. It smells amazing and I can’t wait to add this little luxury to my routine.

Neal’s Yard Wild Rose Beauty Hand Cream

I love this brand Neal’s Yard and this 50g Wild Rose Beauty Hand Cream is worth £10. It smells lovely so I can’t wait to try it!

Philip Kingsley Elasticizer

A cult beauty favourite, this is a 40ml tube of the famous Philip Kingsley Elasticizer which is worth £12. I’ve used this before and it is a lovely conditioning treatment.

Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Cream

This is a full size 30ml and worth an incredible £50!! The bulk of the calendar price is made up with just this which is amazing. It’s a hydrating and anti-ageing cream which transforms your complexion in a little as two weeks, and has been shown in independent clinical trails to reduce the appearance of wrinkle depth by up to 78% and increase hydration by up to 45% in a fortnight.

First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads

These Facial Radiance Pads, with 20 in a pack, are worth £14. They use lactic and glycolic acids, which are the perfect amount to make the pads safe for daily use, they work to improve skin’s clarity whilst visibly reducing the look of pores and diminishing the appearance of fine lines for a brighter, smoother, younger looking complexion.

Eyeko Lash Alert Mascara

This mascara is 4ml and worth £10. It has a bristle brush and is a nourishing and volumising formula which has conditioning Shea Butter which improves strength and elasticity over time.

Omorovicza Queen of Hungary Mist

This is the last drawer you open on day 25, it’s the Limited Edition version of the mist in a beautiful rose gold bottle. It’s 30ml worth £15. I’ve heard so many good thing about this so I’m so excited to try it! It’s enriched with Apple Pectin and a nourishing blend of Rose, Sage and Orange Blossom Waters, to make a refreshing mist that balances and hydrates, whilst the brand’s patented Healing Concentrate™ infuses minerals deep into skin.

Living Proof Perfect Hair Day (PhD) 5-in-1 Styling Treatment

This is 30ml and worth £5.00. I love Living Proof as a hair brand and I haven’t tried this yet so I’m looking forward to giving this styling treatment a go.

Caudalie Vinopure Clear Skin Purifying Toner

This is 50ml and worth £4.00. This is suited to combination skin so I can’t wait to try it because it’s perfect for my skin type. It’s a weightless fluid texture that melts into skin to provide an instant refreshing effect, whilst its powerful blend of Salicylic Acid, Grape Polyphenols organic essential oils works to draw out impurities from deep within pores. It replenishes vital hydration to prevent dryness and discomfort and reduces breakouts, tighten pores and create a clear, glowing complexion.

Luxie 121 & 141 makeup brushes

You get two brushes in one drawer, worth £10.00. The 121 is a mini tapered brush and 141 is a mini round brush, both for eyeshadow. They are really dense and good quality brushes in a beautiful rose gold and white handle.

Illamasqua Nude Collection Liner – Raw

This lip liner is worth £16.00 and is a gorgeous nude colour. I’ve heard good things about Illamasqua and this is a great good value inclusion in the calendar!

OSKIA Renaissance Cleansing Gel

I’ve heard good things about OSKIA and this 35ml cleansing gel is worth £23.00. It’s a non-foaming cleanser that works to restore radiance and reveal enviably soft, supple skin.

Avant Skincare Moisture Surge Overnight Treatment

This is a brand I’ve never heard of and the overnight treatment is 50ml and worth £85.00! This has an antioxidant-rich formula that contains noticeable anti-ageing properties to restore health and life to your complexion and is infused with Vitamins A and E, Shea Butter and Sweet Almond Oil, to restore moisture and plumps the skin layer to help lessen the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Prai Throat & Decolletage Crème

I’ve had this a lot in advent calendars before, but it is a lovely neck cream to use. It’s a 15ml size and worth £9.00.

Lord & Berry Black Eye Liner

This eyeliner is worth £10.00 and is a nice pencil formula that creates sharp definition with rich pigmentation and is easy to apply.

Mellow Cosmetics Liquid Lip Paint – Tehran

This is a a long-wearing, high-pigmented lipstick that delivers non-drying colour with a velvet matte finish. It’s a gorgeous nude shade and it’s worth £11.00. I’ve never heard of this brand and that’s why I love these beauty advent calendars as you get to try things you never normally would.

Rodial Dragon’s Blood Lip Mask

In this you get one mask worth £6.00. This is a bio-cellulose mask that delivers an instant boost of hydration with Hyaluronic Acid for smooth, soft lips. Perfect for the winter months!

Emma Hardie Moisture Boost Vit + C Cream

Emma Hardie is a great brand to be included in here and this is a 20ml cream worth £19.60. It works to refine the skin, reverse sun damage and reduce unsightly pigmentation, whilst red algae extract helps to lift the complexion.

Bio Effect EGF Serum

This is an adorable little 5ml worth a whopping £42.00. It’s a ground-breaking anti-ageing treatment that delivers significant, visibly noticeable results using a plant-based replica of EGF (a naturally occurring human protein) to effectively reduces the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and pores while improving radiance.

Delilah Cosmetics Brow Groom Eyebrow Pencil

This is a full size worth £20.00 with a twist up crayon to pencil in your eyebrows and it’s a cool toned brown, so not necessarily a universal shade for everyone.

Bubble T x Look Fantastic Bath Fizzers

This is a cute little pack of three bath fizzers in salted caramel scent worth £5.99. Can’t wait to pop these in the bath!

Filorga Meso-Mask

This is an anti-wrinkle face mask that works to enhance skin’s natural radiance whilst targeting signs of ageing and fatigue. It’s 15ml and worth £12.60.

Sleek Solstice Highlighting Palette

This is a full size 9g and is worth £9.99 and contains four beautiful highlighting shades. I’ve used this before and confirm that it’s very pigmented with amazing colours for an amazing highlight.
