It’s nearing the end of the month which means another month of finished products! This is only the second empties post I’ve done and as I said in my first empties post I like to review the products that I feature and let you guys know whether I would repurchase or not!
This month I’ve had mostly skincare empties with one makeup empty.
Ole Henriksen Trust Serum Collagen Booster
This was one from my February Birchbox so was only a sample size but a good enough size to see whether my skin liked it or not. I found this quite runny and therefore I don’t feel like it did much although it was very lightweight and had a lovely citrus smell.
Would I repurchase it?
I won’t be repurchasing it as it’s very expensive and I’m not sure it felt luxurious enough for a serum.
Soap & Glory Peaches and Clean Deep Cleansing Milk
This is a gorgeous product from Soap & Glory. It claims to dissolve makeup and leave skin feeling squeaky clean and it really does just that! It also has the added bonus of smelling amazing. I love using this at night after removing my makeup to ensure everything is gone and rinse it off with some water.
Would I repurchase this?
I already have! It’s a tad pricey for what it is but wait until it’s on offer and stock up. I won’t go a night without it!
Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara
I finally got round to trying this after I saw it being raved about by so many bloggers and I was not disappointed. It really does separate and lengthen lashes without clumping and it’s one of the best drugstore mascaras I’ve come across.
Would I repurchase this?
Yes I would definitely!
No7 Soft and Soothed Cleanser
Another cleanser I use in my makeup removing routine (let me know if you would like to see a full post on my routine!) and another great one. It makes my skin sting a tad after I use a couple of pads but it is very soft and removes makeup well. I read in a Cosmo post once that cream cleansers are the one to use when you’ve had a day of heavy makeup and they weren’t wrong as it removes stubborn makeup really well.
Would I repurchase this?
Yes I already have although I wait until No7 have their £5 off skincare vouchers and stock up!
L’occitaine Precious Cream
This was another little free sample from L’occitaine (they love their free samples and so do I!) and this time it was a pre-wrinkle anti-ageing cream designed for people my age to use before wrinkles start to form to prevent them. It’s a nice thick texture that blends really well and leaves no residue and has hardly any scent to it so I reckon it will be great for people with sensitive skin.
Would I repurchase this?
I would but it’s too much on the pricey side for me but I wish it wasn’t as I love the quality and the old fashioned packaging of their products.
Dominae Facial Serum
This was sent to me to try from the lovely Jess at Dominae, see the full post here. I love that they are a British company who produce products that aren’t tested on animals. This would be good for sensitive skin as it did not sting at all around the delicate eye area. I am still unsure whether it made a difference to my wrinkles but there is no way of telling as my wrinkles may well be beyond help!
Would I repurchase this?
I think I probably would do as I love the ethos of the company but right now I have a few other serums to try first.
Have you tried any of these products? What do you think? Let me know below!
Thank you so much for reading!
