Maybelline have released their Go Rio collection just in time forr summer which is a collection of Maybelline’s most loved products with a new and sassy carnival look, exclusive to Superdrug!
There are 4 different products in the collection and I chose the Master Sculpt and the Vivid Matte Liquid Lipstick to try.
I’ve been wanting to try these two products for ages so when I saw them on the Superdrug website with such pretty packaging, and on offer, I just had to make a purchase, cos it would be rude not to right!
The packaging is amazing on this collection! So colourful and bright and makes what would normally be plain black packaging super cute. Not that I don’t like the usual packaging, monochrome is very modern and clean, but it’s nice to have a pop of colour in your life!
Master Sculpt
I’ve heard lots of good things about this so was so excited when I stumbled across this fab opportunity to give it a go. I chose the colour 01 Light Medium as I am very fair skinned.
It is a two tiered product which has a contour and highlight powder in one pan and opens up again to reveal a small brush and a mirror!
Vivid Matte Liquid Lipstick
My obsession with liquid lipsticks is growing everyday and this is just fuelling the fire! Its in shade 05 Nude Flush and it’s a gorgeous rose pink.
It applies shiny but dries to a matte finish. The wand makes it really easy to apply, but it does get on your teeth!
It becomes quite drying after a bit of wear and you can start to feel it a bit after a while. But nonetheless it has some staying power! It’s a gorgeous spring colour and it also has a lovely scent to it which you wouldn’t usually expect from a matte lip product!
