Morphe 12S Soul Of Summer Palette Review and Swatches // Morphe Brush Haul

Morphe is a brand I’ve been wanting to get my hands on for SO long and I’ve wanted the 35o palette for like ever so when I saw that the 12s Souls of Summer palette contained a few of the shades from the 35o I had to make a cheeky purchase!

I’ve also heard a lot about their brushes from fellow bloggers so I thought that whilst I was already perusing the Morphe section I may as well pop some brushes in my basket too.

Lets start with the star of the show and thats this beautiful 12s Souls of Summer palette! It feels amazing to finally have my hands on a Morphe palette after lusting after one for so long!

How frickin pretty is this?! The shades are gorgeous with some amazing browns, golds, bronze and corals with a gorgeous purple and smokey shade thrown in.

They’re all shimmery so you can’t really create an entire look with these if you like matte bases with a highlight shade for the inner corners but you could create so many looks for summer and beyond using this palette.

Top row swatches of gorgeous gold and bronze.

Second row swatches. How gorgeous is the smokey grey at the end with the purple undertones!

Bottom row swatches. I think this row is my fave, I love the end two shades on the right! Second on the left is just dreamy too with gold undertones to the coral it’s so beautiful.

All of these were swatched with a slightly damp brush to get the best colour pay off for the swatches and there was a little fall out with them but they’re mostly smooth buttery powers.

Some are more pigmented than others which you can see from the swatches but you can easily build up the colour to you’re desired level.

This palette is only £11.95 to buy.

Next up the brushes! I got the M458 1in Flat Contour Brush and the M510 Pro Round Blender Brush.

The Pro Round Blender brush is one I saw on Nina Vee’s youtube where she used it too apply her highlight which I tried and it applies really subtly and softly which is fab for a laid back look!

I haven’t tried the contour brush yet but I really look forward to doing so as I feel it will really create chiselled cheeks.

I’m so happy to finally get my hands on some Morphe goodies! Have you tried any of these? Let me know what you thought!

Thanks for reading!
