After my disappointment with the last few Birchbox’s I decided to try out Glossybox as I heard lots of good things about it and it’s the same price at £10 plus postage and when I heard they were giving a full sized lipstick and an eyeshadow palette I thought it would be rude not too!
I was very impressed with this box – the actual box is huge and its presented in tissue paper wrapped in a bow – how lovely!
Here’s what I got inside –
Mua Eyeshadow Palette
I’m a sucker for an eyeshadow palette and this did not disappoint. The black packaging is plain yet effective and the plastic-ness doesn’t bother me so long as the eye shadows are nice! This palette has a lovely range of nudes, pinks and greys and I can’t wait to try this out!
Royal Apothic Body Lotion
Usually body lotion doesn’t excite me as you probably guessed already if you read my Birchbox posts but I will let Glossybox off for this one as the packaging is so pretty! It looks lovely and vintage and it’s actually a decent size for a sample so I don’t mind this one at all.
Eyelure Natural Lashes
Now usually fake eyelashes scare me as I can’t apply them and I am not good at applying glue near my eyes! However I will watch a few tutorials and try this out for one of my christmas nights out as I would like to try them!
Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick
I got this in Fire and Ice and I was pleased as I wanted either that one or the purple one! As it was my first box I didn’t get to choose so I was lucky to get one I wanted! This is a gorgeous bright red and will be perfect for the winter season.
Emite Diamond Heart Primer
Love the packaging for this and its a decent size sample. This apparently boosts radiance and smooths skin whilst balancing skin tone so I am looking forward to using this!
I was so pleased with my first Glossybox and I cannot wait to see what they will produce for December’s box! Fingers crossed for a christmas theme!
