Primark are killing it with their beauty game at the moment, so when I saw they released super matte liquid lipsticks for £2 each I just had to get my hands on some!
Following the hype of the Kylie lip kits, all of Primark’s shades seem to be named after the Kardashian clan!
APPLICATION
These have a doe foot applicator which is angled slightly and allows for a really easy application, particularly around the edges of the lips which is super important for me and is not something I would expect from a shop like Primark!
They apply quite liquid which makes it easy to achieve desired coverage and then quickly dry really matte.
These are not at all drying and are super comfortable to wear, you can’t even tell their on your lips they honestly feel amazing!
WEAR
These will last a fair while, but may need another application after eating as they fade down to a stain finish but are still visible.
COLOURS
They have about 7 different colours from nudes, pinks and reds and I picked up 01 a nude, 02 a pink and 07 a purple (which is a great dupe for Gerard Cosmetics Hydra Matte Liquid Lipstick in Ectasy!)
They have named their colours after the Kardashians, (apart from 02 which seems to be blank on mine, but I bought this first and the other two after so maybe they decided to do it after they made that batch?!)
The packaging reminds me of the Sleek Matte Me Liquid Lipsticks, with the clear rectangular tube with black writing and lid but the applicator is different as it is angled.
The packaging is simple and modern and looks really good.
SWATCHES
The bit you’ve all been waiting for – swatch time! The swatches on my arm are still quite liquidy as I didn’t want them to dry on my arm and it’s a good job I didn’t as I now have a stain on my arm that won’t come off so goodness knows what it would have been like had I let it dry!!

OVERALL
I still can’t believe these beauties are a mere £2 and they perform SO well, I would go as far as saying one of the best liquid lipsticks I have tried! Primark have really hit the nail on the head with these. I will definitely be buying more because you can really afford too!
