Time for a change – I’ve re-branded!

I’m so excited to share that I’ve decided to have a bit of a mix up this year and re-brand to sophielaura.co.uk! I’ve been toying with the idea of using my name for a while now, and when my hosting was up for renewal, I thought now is the time.

It feels a bit more “grown up” to me and I’m very happy I did it as I love my new domain name. Although finding an Instagram and Twitter handle that matched was a bit of a pain, as it turns out my name is pretty damn common, and even names I researched before I changed it all over weren’t actually available when I came to make the changes.

But I found one in the end, so all my handles for absolutely everywhere are all @sophielaurablog so you will find me on Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest and Facebook under that handle. You can follow me on the links on the top right hand corner of the menu.

I changed my hosting to Pipdig’s new service which is waay cheaper than what my previous hosting, Siteground, were asking for renewal. With Pipdig you can pay monthly which is perfect for me as I definitely didn’t have £100+ to hand over all in one go.

Pipdig also handled my domain switch over for me and they were so amazing, they answered all of my many questions with patience and understanding sortted everything for me. Nothing was too much and they did it all SO quickly as well. So a major thank you to Phil over at Pipdig for being so damn amazing. I would highly recommend Pipdig if you’re looking for a new hosting site or a banging WordPress theme as they are fab and do everything for you fuss free.

I also need to shout out to my girl, the wonderful Rachael at Helpless Whilst Drying who is also a website whiz and also answered many of my dumb questions about the whole process and helped me along the way, thanks Rach!

So that’s that, I hope you all love my new branding and thank you for all your continued love and support!
