Who doesn’t love a seasonal refresh? My favourite area of beauty for a spring change around is perfumes. My scents must be season appropriate and Spring is definitely my favourite time to mix up my fragrance. I’ve rounded up my favourites for the season*.
Marc Jacobs Daisy Love Sunshine
This is a limited edition of Marc Jacobs Daisy Love, Daisy Love Sunshine. Is this not the most perfect Spring perfume you ever did see? It’s a sunny twist on the classic Daisy – floral yet fresh and the yellow daisy adorning the elegant bottle is beautifully spring-like. The scent features bergamot with cashmere musk to create floral sweetness balanced with the sparkling brightness of citrus. A must have for this season in my opinion. Get it here* from Fragrance Direct.
Flower by Kenzo
A muskier scent for Spring if that’s more your thing – Flower by Kenzo is a gorgeous elegant slim bottle etched with a beautiful poppy. The scent is floral with Bulgarian Rose, Parma Violet and hawthorn but has a powdery chord deu to the presence of vanilla and white musk myrrh. Get it here from the Fragrance Shop.
Missguided Babe Perfumes
These are the newest scents in from Missguided and they have the funkiest bottles shaped like a can. The Babe range has various variations, including Babe Dreams and Babe Oud. Babe Dreams is a sweet scent with a base of patchouli, rich amber and vanilla, a heart is of velvety rose with orris and violet and top notes of bergamot, pink pepper and red fruity accords. Get it here.
Babe Oud is a lot muskier and a bit heavier so definitely more of an evening scent – rose, bergamot, lemon and orange, red fruit and neroli, the heart has geranium with jasmine, oud, black pepper, roses and saffron, finished with base notes of amber, cedar, Kashmir fusion, musk, patchouli, tonka and vetiver (phew that was a long one!) Get it here.
