I wish I could say that Summer has arrived here in England but it really hasn’t showed up yet, someone needs to tell the weather it’s actually summer please!
Despite the rain winds and clouds we’ve been experiencing of late, I would like to pretend summer is here and still switch up the routine to my go to summer products.
Summer season makeup for me is a lightweight base, bright colours and bronzed shades. Today I’m showing you the beauty items I reach for during the summer months in my Summer Beauty Edit.
BASE
I love lightweight foundations with staying power and ones that contain an SPF are a must when there’s a higher chance of sun (and I mean chance!). The Estee Lauder Double Wear Light ticks all these boxes and lasts ages!
BRONZE
Bronzing works its best during summer as it’s super easy to fake that summer glow. Soap & Glory Solar Powder has two bronzing shades one for bronzing and one for highlighting but still with a bronze glow.
HIGHLIGHT
I have recently got this but the Urban Decay Afterglow Highlighter in Fireball has a peachy pink glow and is long lasting so makes for the perfect summer highlight.
LIPS
Summer lips for me are all about bright corals and oranges. The Revlon Colour Burst Matte Balm in Audacious is a matte bright orange and the Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor in Flirt is a gorgeous peach.
NAILS
Again orange shades just scream summer to me so this Ciate shade by Olivia Palermo in Nantucket is a perfect summer coral.
BODY
I can never be bothered to fake tan so I just stick with shimmery moisturisers. The Nuxe Body Oil illuminates the skin giving it a gorgeous summer glow.
PERFUME
Last but by no means least my all time favourite scent for summer has to be the Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess. It is literally summer in a bottle you cannot beat this perfume for summer.
So that’s my Summer Beauty Edit! What do you reach for during the warmer months? Do you reach for anything the same as me? Let me know below!
