Dry Shampoo is an absolute life saver for me and has to be one of the products that I cannot live without.
My hair takes soo long to wash dry and straighten and as it isn’t good to wash your hair too frequently, dry shampoo is my best friend. By the time it gets to the end of the week I am practically 90% dry shampoo.
I have never found a dry shampoo that ticks all the boxes: doesn’t leave your hair with white residue, feeling chalky or wet and actually gets rid of the grease. Any I’ve tried have always had one of these annoying outcomes.
Until now! When I was asked to try the new Batiste 2 in 1 Invisible Dry Shampoo and Conditioner*, I was very intrigued and after giving it a test run, let me tell you, you will want to try this as well!
PACKAGING
First of all, how nice is the packaging?! The bottle is slim and sleek and I love the orange pink and blue pattern and blocks of colour, it looks really modern and fresh compared to the original Batiste ranges and other dry shampoos on the market.
SCENT
The scent is Orange and Pomegranate and it smells so nice and fresh. The scent isn’t overpowering but strong enough to mask any whiffs of unwashed hair.
There are a couple of other different scents in the same range as well so if you don’t like citrus scents, give the others a go.
When your hair moves about after using the spray, you get whiffs of the fresh fruity scent which means your hair smells fresher for longer.
APPLICATION
So on applying this, you need a little more than usual as the formula is thin, but don’t be fooled, there is some serious grease-soaking power to this product!
RESULT
The product soaks up grease and is 100% invisible! Yep you heard right, there is no white or chalky residue whatsoever, you can’t even tell you’ve used it!
FEEL
What’s more, because the product is also a conditioning spray as well as a dry shampoo, your hair feels nourished rather than dried out, which is usually how other dry shampoos leave my hair feeling.
TRAVEL
The product even comes in a handy travel size so you can take it with you on the go or for travelling.
PRICE
This retails for £4.49 at Boots and Superdrug but I’ve seen it on offer at Asda for £3 so keep a look out for offers!
Even at full price this is a competitive price compared to others on the market, and well worth paying to avoid the chalky dry and white residue most other dry shampoos leave on the hair.
