Top 3 Spring Scents

Spring is well and truly here in the UK and it is actually showing as we have had some beautiful weather lately.

With the change of seasons I love to switch up my routine and that includes rotating my perfume stash.

The arrival of Spring is one of my favourite and Spring scents are up there with my most used.

There is something about the change in weather that makes me want to spritz all over and the fresh air reminds me even more to use perfume.

FYI I’m really not good at describing perfume scents but I just know I love the smell of these!

My absolute favourite perfume of all time is Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau so Fresh. This is a big claim I know but it is my go to and I return to it year after year. It is a floral scent with a fresh edge and its not at all overpowering.

It’s the perfect day time choice as it’s strong but fresh. It has top notes of red grapefruit, raspberry, green leaves, pear and heart notes of violet, wild rose, apple blossom, lychee, jasmine.

It can be a tad on the expensive side but definitely worth it as the sizes are huge and last ages. You can even get it in a travel friendly smaller bottle. I love the packaging with the light pink liquid and the array of daisies that adorn the lid it looks beautiful displayed on the dressing table.

A scent that I prefer to wear at night time is Armani Diamonds Rose. A floral take on the original diamonds that has a fairly strong rose scent. It isn’t quite as strong as Paul Smith Rose if you’ve ever tried it which literally smells like rose petals in a bottle it is much more subtle than that.

It boasts top notes of blackcurrant, raspberry and bergamot which I think help makes this a more subtle, sweeter rose fragrance and heart notes of Lily of the Valley, Bulgarian Rose and Freesia.

I get loads of compliments whilst wearing this as it is strong enough to linger but not be overpowering. This is a smaller more travel friendly bottle but pretty all the same. The prismatic reflective bottle shows off the light pink liquid inside beautifully.

Lastly is a much more budget friendly option but one that I love this time of year. Zoella Letz Spritz is a sweet scented body mist but don’t be fooled by this, it packs a huge punch for a body mist and is one of the strongest I’ve ever sprayed.

It boasts a berry scent with raspberry and cassis which may not be for those of you who aren’t a huge fan of sweet scents as I imagine you might find this sickly but I really like it and it’s a great day time option for more casual days.

Very affordable and won’t break the ban yet it still comes in a glass bottle making it feel more luxurious to use.

So those are my fave scents for Spring time! I’d love to know what yours are in the comments below!
