Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and whether you’re spending it with mates or a date its any excuse to dress up!
I love bright reds and pink for Valentine’s Day so here are my picks to suit any budget.
From left to right –
NYX Soft Matte Lip Creme in San Paulo
The colour of the bottle is quite deceiving as it comes out quite bright on the lips. It glides on so softly and once dried it’s almost a lip stain that has fab staying power even when eating or drinking!
Bourjous Rogue Edition Velvet in 03
This is also a matte cream formula that dries well on the lips much like the above. It’s a gorgeous bright red which just screams Valentine’s Day to me!
Loreal Colour Riche In 461
This is a classic red lipstick which has a creamy sheen formula. A bit more high maintenance but definitely a classic choice.
Clinique Pop Lip Colour in Cherry Pop
Free from Glamour mag a while back this little gem is a dark horse in that it’s very deep pink rather than red but nonetheless it’s gorgeous and a great alternative over red.
Collection Lasting Colour in Pink Shock
A bargain choice and a proper bright pink without being fluorescent. A great night out choice if you want to make a statement! It has a lovely matte finish too.
