I don’t know about you but I can’t believe how quickly April has flown by! It doesn’t seem like it was almost a month ago I was jetting off on my hols! I’ve totally got the holiday blues now especially as spring and the sunshine seems to have disappeared completely?! It’s just not on!
I’m so glad today is a bank holiday Monday and if like me you’re lying in bed feeling too hungover/ lazy to get up then have a browse through this month’s favourites to keep you entertained..
From left to right –
Strawberry Sisters Wax Brittle, Real Techniques Blusher Brush, Nivea Men Sensitive Cooling Post Shave Balm, Makeup Revolution Rose Gold Lipstick in Chauffeur, Mark Hill Wonder Spray, Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge, Sleek Rose Gold Blush, Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer
Strawberry Sisters Wax Brittle
These were sent to me by the lovely ladies at Strawberry Sisters and a full review will follow at the end of the week but I wanted to include them in my favourites as I have been burning them all month so I have a fully informed review for you! They smell divine and they are so unique I love this brand, watch this space for the full review!
Real Techniques Blusher Brush
This I ordered because I realised I didn’t have a nice big fluffy blusher brush and I wish I had ordered it sooner as it is amazing! It applies blush so well and with spring trying to make an appearance I love including more spaced out blush as part of my spring makeup routine so I have been reaching for this every day since I got it and I haven’t looked back!
Nivea Men Sensitive Cooling Post Shave Balm
There is a mega hype in the beauty community at the moment of using this as a primer so I had to jump on the bandwagon and give it a go! It really does work as a primer for a dewy look that holds foundation on for longer. Let me know if you would like a full review of this!
Makeup Revolution Rose Gold Lipstick in Chauffeur
Included as part of my recent MR haul here I have been reaching for this for work most days as it’s like a “my lips but better” shade, the perfect nude with a lovely mix of a matte/sheen finish. Again let me know if you would like a full review of this and the other rose gold lipstick I got in my haul in the link above!
Mark Hill Wonder Spray
I am loving the new collection by Mark Hill at the moment, I mean look at that packaging to start off with! This multi-tasking blow dry spray is great and I’ve been using it most times I blow dry my hair. It has 10 different elements to it including smoothing and volumising!
Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge
I purchased this as I needed a new sponge and didn’t want to splurge on a beauty blender and just took the plunge with this without reading any reviews but it is great and does the job as it blends my concealer really well. It cleans easily and is quite sturdy.
Sleek Rose Gold Blush
How gorgeous is this blush?! The fact it’s called rose gold was enough to hook me but it is a gorgeous shade with flecks of gold in so you don’t need a highlight when you use this as it is already shimmery enough. It doesn’t look glittery though it has a nice golden sheen that isn’t too obvious! It’s super pigmented and lasts ages too, absolutely love this!
Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer
I grabbed this when my Collection concealer ran out and there was no Collection stand but I am impressed with it! It’s more lightweight than the Collection concealer but still packs a punch at covering under eye circles and as it isn’t as cakey it doesn’t settle into fine lines AS much as the heavier Collection concealer.
So that’s my round up of faves this month, what do you think to these products? Let me know below!
Thank you so much for reading!

At first I thought that Makeup Revolution lipstick was a Charlotte Tilbury lipstick! 😛
I think I’ll have to give that Rimmel concealer a try – been hearing good things about it.
