Birthday Haul

Hey guys! Sorry I’ve been a bit MIA recently been super busy! Friday 16th was my birthday and I turned a hugeee 25! I can’t quite get over that I’m halfway to 50 because in my head I still feel like 19 years old!

Anywayy I thought I would show you what I got for my birthday, I always enjoy nosing what others got for their birthday, so I hope you enjoy this post! I got some gorgeous products I cannot afford to buy myself and I am very excited to try them out!

MAKEUP

The most important first obviously!

I got my first big Morphe palette the 35T! This is a gorgeous mix of browns, purples and bronze and it is so dreamy! Thank you to my fab friend for this beauty!

My other bestie got me a Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips in Secret Salma! I am so happy to finally have my hands on one of these babies. Secret Salma is a gorgeous matte berry mauve pink.

Lets just talk about Hourglass for a second – I got the Ambient Lighting Blush and the Ambient Lighting Powder. How frickin pretty are these?! The packaging and aesthetics of these are something else! I cannot wait to try these! My lovely Momma is to thank for these.

Last but not least the blogger favourite Sleek Solstice Highlighting Palette which is so so pretty and I cannot wait to have a play! Thanks to the little sissy for this.

FASHION AND JEWELLERY

This is a very wide category but I got some random bits so thought I’d pop these into a category to cover all bases.

My Mum also got me this Fiorelli Cate Flapover Bag in Tan. I love this brand as it’s affordable and good quality, my last bag of this brand lasted me about 3 years and is only just starting to fray on the handles.

She also got me this Asos Grey and Rose Gold watch. Asos watches actually last ages and they’re cheap enough you can have a few!

From the boyfriend I got these gorgeous pink Topshop Shoes  (yep he went into Topshop and picked them out himself, knew my size and everything!) which are so pretty.

Also from the boy I got a pink Love Essence Pandora Charm and a Heart Pandora Ring.

STRAIGHTENERS

The main present off my Momma was these Cloud 9 Wide Irons which I’ve wanted for ages as it’s what they use at my local hairdressing salon and they make hair super sleek! The makers of Cloud 9 are the original makers of GHD who for some reason decided to leave GHD and make Cloud 9.

I also got the Cloud 9 Magic Quick Dry Potion Spray which is a mega multitasker – it dries quicker, protects from heat, smoothes frizz and strengthens to name a few! It is a serious game changer if your hair takes forever to dry like mine.

HOME STUFF

To go along with my makeup the besties also got me some bits for my house as they know I’ve just moved into my own little house!

I love cats and fried eggs so I got this kitty egg mould from Tiger along with pretty coloured scourers. I also got these tea towels with the cutest pom poms from Primark. Lastly a paper diary as I may have forgotten a meet up or two recently…!

SAMPLES

Along with the various orders my Mum placed, she got some samples and put them all together in a box for me to open. From Boots came the Marc Jacobs Divine Decadence perfume sample – I  love Marc Jacobs Daisy so can’t wait to try this. From Look Fantastic came Mario Badescu Body Soap and Cleansing Lotion. I have heard so much about this brand so I’m excited to give these a go. Something I’ve also heard about in the blogging vine is REN skincare – I have the Day Cream and Night Cream. I also got a sample of Dr Dennis Gross Eye Serum.

TREATS

I was very lucky to be spoilt with (mostly) homemade and (all) yummy treats.

My bestie made me a banoffee pie, my fab friend from work made me Reeses Peanut Butter Cup fudge, the boy got me a giant Millies Cookie and my Momma made me this hugee chocolate cake covered in Terrys Chocolate Orange pieces and Cadburys Chocolate fingers.  Seriously not sure how I’m supposed to finish all this, I’m going to need a lot of help!

This is the set up I came home to from the boy – pink roses, pink wrapping paper, a giant cookie and my fave Ed’s Easy Diner milkshake!
