Bloggers Secret Santa Gift Exchange

When you make friends with fellow bloggers, they are the only ones in your life who understand your beauty obsession and when Christmas comes around, you know they’re going to pick the best presents.

My three blogging besties and I decided to a do a Secret Santa Gift Exchange with a limit of £20 and I was so excited to see what everyone came up with.

As beauty obsessives, you can guarantee each of us already had A LOT of products, so finding something we didn’t already have would be an achievement!

Lora, Molly, Rachael and I signed up to Draw My Name online which draws secret santa names for you and emails you your selected person. This is a great way of drawing secret santa as it means you don’t get the drama of drawing your own name when you pull it out a hat!

We all managed to keep our person secret and nobody let it slip or gave any indication as to who they might have. We met up at a tapas restaurant called Escabeche in West Bridgford to stuff our face whilst opening presents! The best way I say!

We all put our pressies into one bag and Molly was nominated as Santa to hand them out. I was chosen Rachael to buy for, which was super hard as she literally has everything, but I managed to find out there was one thing she wanted but didn’t have, so was happy to find her something I knew she would love! I was given my present by the gorgeous Lora, which was beautifully wrapped in thick brown paper covered in gold snowflakes and reindeer, finished with a navy blue and white string and name tag.

She absolutely nailed it with the Huda Beauty Warm Brown Obsessions palette! I didn’t even know I needed this until I had it in my hands and I instantly fell in love!

Just look at all those shades! All of the matte shades around the edge will look gorgeous with the gold metallic in the middle. The palette itself is small but the pan sizes are actually huge, I was very impressed with this! Thank you Lora for managing to pick a beautiful palette I didn’t actually have!!
