This is the first time I’ve done an empties post but I think that’s because I’ve never had multiple products finishing at the same time so it reminded me to save them all and do an empties post!
I know some people dislike empties posts but for me it isn’t about a photo of what I’ve finished recently its more to discover what people’s opinions are about products they’ve tried and tested right until it’s end.
Sometimes you can’t tell how you really feel about a product until you get to the end of it and essentially if you go and repurchase it it’s a winner in my eyes!
So for me this is more of a review post than just merely these are some empty products.
From left to right –
Elf Poreless Face Primer
This was something I picked up from NY back in October and whilst you can get Elf in the UK I can’t see that you can buy this! This is a face primer that reduces the appearance of pores and fine lines.
It has a very smooth and silky texture but it is quite thick. It does reduce the appearance of lines and pores but not as much as I would like.
Plus the bottle size is very deceiving and when you pull it apart the pink you can see is a plastic bottle that is half the size of the clear frosted outer packaging so a bit of a cheek!!
Would I repurchase this?
If it was available in the UK I probably would as it has been quite good.
L’occitaine Creme Comfort Shea Butter Comforting Cream
This was a freebie from L’occitaine along with a hand cream in a little Shea Butter gift tin that they were giving away when you sign up to their emails.
This is a very lovely moisturising facial cream that has been great for the recent cold weather spat we’ve had. This little pot lasted me about a month so has been good going! It smells a bit like babies nappy cream but apart from that it really is lovely.
Would I repurchase this?
No purely because full size is about £25 and I just cannot afford that on a face cream.
Lush Santas Lip Scrub
I finished this at the beginning of February just in time for the Valentines The Kiss lip scrub! Lush lip scrubs are one of the staples I cannot live without so I always have one of these on the go they are great to use everyday for super smooth lips, particularly in the cold winter months!
Would I repurchase this?
Every single time! I would recommend this to anyone as a staple for your bathroom.
Dominae Eye Cream
I did a full post on this here so I won’t go into too much detail but this has been a fab addition to my skincare routine and it contains natural ingredients and is not tested on animals and is great for sensitive skin.
Would I repurchase this?
Honestly I think I would as I love the packaging and the ethics behind it plus I love supporting British businesses especially start ups.
No7 Beutifully Matte Foundation
I had this in Cool Ivory and it lasted me ages! It doesn’t look empty in the photo but this is where it stops pumping and as it was taken I had prized the top off and was in the process of scooping out what I needed with a cotton bud, no point in wasting a couple of weeks worth of foundation! I did a full review about it here so check that out for the full review but it is honestly so matte without being drying and is really long-lasting.
Would I repurchase this?
Already have! Every time this runs out I will definitely replace it. I would recommend this to anyone who has oily skin and needs a foundation that doesn’t dry out your skin.
Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water
Ever since the first time I got one of these I fell in love with it! It’s so refreshing and leaves skin feeling squeaky clean! The bottle says it has 200 uses but I do have to use about 2-3 cotton pads a night with this on, but it’s so cheap and usually on offer for even less I really don’t mind. This stuff is great and has really improved my make-up removing routine, a must for every dressing table!
Would I repurchase this?
Already have multiple times! A must have and I would highly recommend as it is so purse friendly. The smaller version is great for travel too.
So that’s the end of my empty product reviews! Have you tried any of these? What are your thoughts? Let me know below!

Great post! I personally love reading empties posts because like you say, you sometime’s can’t really comment on a product until you’ve finished it and the proof is really in whether you choose to repurchase or not. I now would love to try that no7 foundation! Thanks for sharing 🙂 – Daisy x

The Garnier Micellar water is really good. The one thing I will say is that sometimes it doesn’t feel like it does a really deep cleanse – but after I’ve taken the bulk of my warpaint off with something a bit stronger (haha) I love that it’s really light and refreshing! I always use it just before bed.

Hahaa war paint I love that!! Yeah I agree – I use a cream cleanser first and then the Garnier water after and always feel squeaky clean! I still wouldn’t be without it!! X
