Glossybox April Unboxing

Time for another unboxing post of this month’s Glossybox. It came in the usual signature baby pink box with the theme of Spring Preening. There were 4 full size and 1 sample item which sounds great but I was unfortunately disappointed with this month. Here’s why –

Left to right – Studio 10 Brow Lift Perfecting Liner, NEXT Make Me Beautiful Lip Chubby,  The Body Shop Oils of Life Intensely Revitalising Facial Oil, Leighton Denny Expert Nails Miracle Mist and STYLondon Temporary Henna Tattoos.

Studio 10 Brow Lift Perfecting Liner

This is a fab brand as they support breast cancer awareness, however I hate getting brow products in subscription boxes as not everybody has the same colour eyebrows!! This is far to dark for me so totally unusable and such a waste! It does have a highlighter pencil on the other end so I may give that a go.

NEXT Make Me Beautiful Lip Chubby

This is the best thing about the box! I haven’t tried anything from NEXT beauty range yet but if I was going to do so I wouldn’t have picked this shade as it’s very bright. It’s gorgeous but not really one I’d go for.

The Lip Chubby has a shiny finish but is very pigmented and moisturising so I am impressed!

The Body Shop Oils of Life Intensely Revitalising Facial Oil

This is a tiny size which I hear you can get yourself for free anyway if you go into the Body Shop so not too impressed with this although wouldn’t mind trying it out.

Leighton Denny Expert Nails Miracle Mist

This is a nice item, the second best in the box as if it works at drying wet nails instantly it will be fab. I like this brand they’re quite high end although you can get them from TK Maxx.  I am looking forward to putting this through its paces!

STYLondon Temporary Henna Tattoos

WTF? When I showed these to my boyfriend he was like “This is what you used to use at Primary school” and I  totally agree. Definitely don’t want to be using tattoos you have to press on with a damp cloth, I’m not 5 thanks very much!

So overall 2 good products from this box which does make it worth it for the price. Next month we get a Revlon Mascara of our choice so I’m looking forward to that!
