It’s that time of the month again to share the newest Latest in Beauty edit and for August it’s the Life’s a Beach edit*. There’s another fabulous selection of products to choose from and these are the one’s I’ve picked.
Isle of Paradise Medium Self Tanning Water
I’ve always wanted to try Isle of Paradise but been put off by the price tag so was so excited to see it included in the box. It’s an easy-to-use tanning water that gives a medium tan, with an anti-redness complex that’s derived from turmeric root extract to soothe and reduce redness. You get a full size 200ml and it’s usually about £19 so this is an amazing inclusion in the box!
Basic Beauty Tools Spongeclean
I use this every single day so I was so happy to see a full size 250ml bottle of this! It’s a more affordable version of the Beauty Blender cleanser and it does the job fabulously! I use it everyday to clean my beauty blender before I use it and it soaks out all of the leftover foundation and leaves it nice and clean again. You can see my original review of this here.
Unicorn Cosmetics Cream Dream Angled Brush 015
I’ve been really into contour lately so I thought I’d give the Cream Dream Angled Brush from Unicorn Cosmetics a go. I’ve never tried this brand of brushes before so I was intrigued, plus it’s super pretty! The brush is made to last longer due to being created with copper ferrule, which apparently most brand don’t use on the high street, and it has less hair fallout. The brushes are super densely packed and the handle feels lovely to hold.
SportFX Performance Powder and Bronzer Compact Duo Light
I’ve been really into using powder lately to keep my face matte all day and I’ve been trying a few different brands so I thought I’d add this to my list of ones to try out, so watch this space! This is full size.
MUA Roll on Eye Shimmer – Moroccan Spice
Let’s face it, I’m a sucker for pretty eye makeup so I couldn’t resist this pretty little thing. It’s 100% vegan and a limited-edition liquid eye roll on. You are in control of the intensity of the shade and can apply all over the eyelids or just in the inner corners for a pop of colour. Roll pigment on the eyelids and blend pigment using a brush or fingertips. Cannot wait to try this as the swatch is surprisingly pigmented! This is full size.
System Professional Instant Refresh Dry Shampoo
I love System Professional products and the one thing I haven’t tried from them yet is dry shampoo. I basically live for dry shampoo and I’m basically 90% dry shampoo by the time it reaches Friday, so this is a great addition in the box. It’s a 65ml one so a great sample size to try out.
Other products available
I find it SO hard to narrow down to just 6 products for this box and there are so many others I could have chosen given the chance, including their Haul of Fame product the Eyeko Eye Do Liquid Eyeliner, the Aveda Damage Remedy Daily Hair Repair and the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant.
