Valentines coming up soon means one thing: red everything! Any excuse to carry on this classic colour after Christmas.
I love bright red for Valentines and if you’re like me and can never find time to paint your nails then this is a great quick way to get a classic red look with a little bit of simple nail art with one sweep of a brush.
First up use the Kiko Milano Power Pro Nail Lacquer in no. 13. This dries fairly quickly if you use thin coats so let this dry and do two coats.
Once the red is dry get the Maybelline Colour Show All Access NY Top Coat in NY Lover. I just put this on my fourth fingers for a dramatic look but this could easily be swept on however many you wish.
This little top coat has red and white polka dots and white hearts inside so it’s perfect for Valentines.
Get some on the brush and kind of dab it on, ensuring the clear varnish that comes with it is evenly spread all over the nail. I (gently) used a cotton bud to place the heart in the middle.
Let it dry and add a coat of fast drying top coat like Seche Vite and there you have it! Quick, simple and cheap.
What look are you doing for Valentines? Let me know below!
