Introducing Latest In Beauty’s Build Your Own Beauty Box*. Beauty boxes are a great way to try new products and it’s always exciting to get your box each month and see what surprises you have inside. However, for me not all products are suitable, sometimes they can be repetitive and boring. So that’s why I love the idea of Latest In Beauty’s Build Your Own Box because you can choose exactly what you want.

How Build Your Own Box works
How the Build Your Own Box works – you choose six products from a selection of over 120 different products meaning you can select exactly what you want and what works for you. I love this idea because it means you can choose some safe products you know you can get use out of, as well as trying new products you have no idea about, so you get real value and use from the money you pay. There is SO much to choose from and it took me ages to narrow it down – from makeup to skincare to hair and body, there’s so much choice.

Packaging and cost of Build Your Own Box
The Latest in Beauty boxes come nicely packaged in a large and useful sized box which can easily be re-used for storage etc. For six products, it costs £15 each month or you can get a one off box for £22. For three you pay £9 each month or £16 one off and for nine products each month it’s £18 a month or a £25 one off fee. Postage is free on the monthly box or you pay for it with a one off. You can unsubscribe at any time and for your first order you get a free makeup bag too.

In my BYOB I chose:
Nude By Nature Touch of Glow Highlight Stick
This is the LIB Haul of Fame product for March. It’s in the shade rose and it’s an iridescent Highlight Stick which creates points of light, intense colour and a luminous sheen for easy highlighting in one swipe. You can also get £10 off your Nude By Nature order with code NATURAL10 when spending £45 or more at nudebynature.co.uk.

Yes To Vitamin C Glow Boosting Mud Mask
This is a sheet mask that uses grapefruit, vitamin C and pink kaolin clay to enhance glow while minimising pores and shine. It sounds like the perfect combination for my skin so I can’t wait to put this to the test!

St. Tropez Self Tan Purity Face Mist
This is a new St Tropez product and I’m so excited to try it because I’ve heard amazing things in the blogsophere about this range. It’s a transparent tan with a tropical scent which claims to give a golden glow in just one application. We shall see! Goodness knows I need all the tanning help I can get..

Biore Deep Cleansing Cheetah Pore Strips
I love nose strips and the Biore ones can’t be beaten IMO. I had to get some of these when I saw they were animal print! You peel off and place on a wet nose and the strip gets to work using a magnet like effect to extract deep-down dirt. It’s so satisfying/horrifying to see what it pulls out!

Philosophy take a deep breath oil-free oxygenating gel cream
I really wanted to try this as my skin is so oily and it’s an oil-free formula gel cream created using clear-air technology™, so your skin gets the oxygen it requires. I’m very intrigued to see how this feels on my skin and I know Philosophy is a good brand so I’m looking forward to trying it.

Garnier Charcoal and Algae Hydrating Sheet Mask
Another sheet mask I know, but I love the Garnier masks and this one is aimed at mattifying and purifying so I had to give it a go when it was in such a great offer like in this LIB box.

Overall
I think the Latest In Beauty Build Your Own Box is a wonderful idea as you can guarantee you will want to use the products. Yes it eliminates the surprise element, but I feel like my money is better spent on products I will actually want to use. It’s also a lovely monthly treat! I had a lot of fun choosing my products and really enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend if you like beauty boxes but are sick of the repetitiveness and getting products you won’t use in the traditional subscriptions.
