It looks like Spring is finally here which means that we can ditch the coats and jumpers and venture into lighter and more colourful clothes. I am so here for Spring fashion, it’s one of my favourite seasons for clothes and Boohoo are clearly the same as they’re killing it with their Spring range right now . I was kindly sent a spring dress of my choice to style up for Spring.
Just to say before I begin, I am by no means a fashion expert or model and definitely do not claim to be, in fact I’m quite body conscious so doing this was a bit of a deal for me, but I had such a fun time shooting it and the beautiful dress was really flattering and I’m so happy with how it turned out! I’d really like to start doing some more fashion content now!
I am actually obsessed with clothes just as much as I am makeup and honestly, the majority of my online orders are mostly clothes, rather than makeup. So when Boohoo contacted me to style up a spring dress, I was so excited to choose one.
They have a beautiful selection of spring dresses right now, and it was so hard to narrow it down to just one, but I managed it and chose this beautiful Boutique Aimee Floral Bow Back Maxi Dress*.
Dress: Boohoo Straw bag: Topshop Denim Jacket: Primark Sunglasses: Primark
It’s has a pretty cream and pink floral design with cross over sleeves finished with a gorgeous frill. It has an elasticated middle which is super comfy and ties at the back with a nice thick bow. I’m 5 ft 3″ so it’s a super long dress, but with heels and a bit of princess style holding up it’s fine.
I styled this dress down for the day time with converse, a denim jacket, sunnies and a straw bag for a more casual look. I styled it up for an evening do with rose pink heels, pink circle bag and a pink smart/casual blazer. It looks absolutely fab with both and it’s a really versatile dress that you can use for any occasion!
Blazer: Matalan Pink circle bag: Primark Pink Heels: New Look
I found the frill on the sleeves were really flattering for my arms and the v-neck was a perfect canvas for a necklace or a choker. I styled the day time look with a casual pink choker and the night time look with an elegant diamante option.
The Boutique Aimee Floral Bow Back Maxi Dress is £25.00 to buy here, which is an amazing price for such a stunning dress. Check our their other maxi dresses here, there are so many gorgeous options for spring in Boohoo right now!
Also, major thanks go to my super patient boyfriend Jay, who did a super job shooting these photos for me! The weather was rubbish as soon as we went out to do this shoot, we even persevered in the rain and as soon as we got back home, out came the sun, typical! But it wouldn’t be English Spring without a bit of rain would it?!
