Autumn Lip Edit // Drugstore Edition

The nights are drawing in, the weather is hella chillier and the leaves are turning brown and falling off the trees which can only mean one thing – Autumn is here!

This also means a shake up of the beauty routine and the transition into jumpers, scarves and berry tones.

So with that in mind, today I’ve rounded up my fave drugstore lip products for those Autumn months.

From the top going from left to right: NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Copenhagen, Avon Ultra Colour Lipstick in Vixen, Makeup Revolution Rose Gold Lipstick in Diamond Life, No 7 Moisture Drench Lipstick in Deep Plum and Primark Super Matte Liquid Lipstick in 04 Kylie.

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Copenhagen

I have a feeling this one may make it’s way into everyone’s Autumn lip lists but that just further proves how perfect it is for this season. The soft matte lip creams are a perfect formula that don’t dry out the lips, which is welcome in the colder months, and the colour is a deep purple that fits right into Autumn. This is £5.50.

Avon Ultra Colour Lipstick in Vixen

Avon is underrated for their lipsticks and this one is no exception. A dark berry red, this is a darker autumn pick which is fab for nights out. These are £7.50 but unfortunately Vixen isn’t listed on there right now! 🙁

Makeup Revolution Rose Gold Lipstick in Diamond Life

The Rose Gold lipsticks from MR are one of my favourite drugstore lipsticks I have most of the colours in the range. They have a creamy finish that are really comfortable to wear. Diamond Life looks a deep purple in the tube but swatching it it looks more berry. These are only a bargain £3 and not to mention the packaging is gorgeous!

No 7 Moisture Drench Lipstick in Deep Plum

This choice from No 7 is a creamy pigmented formula and this shade is a lovely berry, perfect for autumn days paired with a cosy jumper. I love the No 7 lipsticks now have the brand embossed onto the bullet, they look a lot more luxurious that way. These are £9.95 but watch out for £3 off vouchers every couple of months, making them only £6.95 in stores only.

PS Super Matte Liquid Lipstick in 04 Kylie

Not your traditional autumn berry, this is a deep red liquid lipstick that is a bargain price of £2 from none other than Primark. Not strictly drugstore either, but high street so kinda counts. You just can’t go wrong for £2! It’s a little high maintenance as the formula isn’t as easy to work with as some of the lighter colours from the PS range, but like I said it’s  only £2! Can’t link it though, as Primark don’t have an online shop.

I also gravitate towards a lighter shade of pink on my lips 🙂

Ooh for Autumn? That’s interesting, which one do you go for? If I reach for pink its more a mauve/rose colour. 🙂 x

I agree, Avon is so underrated. I haven’t had a lip product from them in ages though.
No 7 in Deep Plum is my favourite out of these! 🙂
    Great picks!
