How to use Bali Body 1 Hour Express Tan
The Bali Body 1 Hour Express Tan is an even streak free tan that develops in an hour, or leave on for two to three for a darker tan. It’s an aerosol mousse that has a guide colour to help you apply.
You need to exfoliate and moisturise before as you would any other tan, then apply with a mitt. The Bali Body mitt is a great one to use as it isn’t too tight and it’s velvety smooth for a clean application.
How it applies
The mousse is quite thick and dense compared to the Bali Body original mousse tan and it dries quicker so you have to move fast. My advice is little and often application to cover where you want your tan completely.
The mousse applies well as the guide colour allows you to see where you’ve already covered. It doesn’t smell at all like the typical biscuit tan smell and it dries down really well without feeling sticky. You can get dressed after 5-10 minutes and you can’t even tell you’ve got it on!
Results of the 1 Hour Express Tan
I had the colour “dark” and I washed my tan off after about an hour a half . It washed off really easily and I was left with a lovely subtle glow to my skin which got a little darker over another hour or so. I looked nicely sunkissed and it wasn’t streaky at all. It also wasn’t totally obvious I had fake tan on and I imagine if you left it on for 2-3 hours, it would look more like you’ve fake tanned. I loved the colour I was left with it gave me such a nice glow. It lasted a good couple of days before it started going patchy round my wrists and hands where I wash my hands all the time, but everywhere else looked lovely for days.
Overall opinion
I was very impressed with this – it doesn’t smell or feel sticky, it gives a lovely subtle glow after an hour and darker if you leave it on for longer. It applies really nicely (albeit a little more dense than your typical mousse tans) and it washes of so nicely without streaking. You can get yours here and from Boots, here*.
