Bali Body have launched some new liquid highlighter sticks and I’ve been putting them to the test. One of my favourite parts of my beauty routine has to be highlighter – everybody craves the “so lit you can see it from space” type of highlight, or a subtle every day glow, and I’ve tried many a highlight to try and nail both of these.

Bali Body Highlighter Sticks
The Bali Body Highlighter Sticks have a cream to matte formula that blends easily into the skin to create a soft, seamless glow and features a light-reflecting finish. It has a wand applicator, designed to swipe over your cheekbones, nose & cupids bow day or night for a long lasting glow. It’s available in 3 different shades: Moonlit, Rose Gold & Sunkissed.
How they perform
The Bali body Highlighter Sticks apply with a wand in a pigmented matte application, that blends out really easily with the finger. One swipe and blend creates a subtle glow, whilst a second added on top gives a more powerful highlight. It works well on the cheekbones, cupids bow and down the nose.
The formula blends out really softly and nicely – in fact, it’s the nicest formula of a liquid highlighter I’ve ever tried. In my experience, liquid highlighters either go gloopy or don’t sit well on top of foundation, but this blends so seamlessly both on top of foundation and onto bare skin (which creates a gorgeous no-makeup look glow). I find that swiping excess product onto the eyelids after blending out creates a subtle pretty eye look. It would also work really well as an eyeshadow topper.
Shades and swatches
You can get three different shades: Moonlit, Rose Gold & Sunkissed. Rose Gold is self explanatory, Moonlit is a champagne gold and Sunkissed is a golden bronze.
Bali Body also do some really good fake tan products which I’ve reviewed before, here.
