So unless you’ve been living under a rock recently you’ll be aware that Elle Magazine allowed us the opportunity to experience Benefit’s brand new Goof Proof eyebrow pencil.
Of course it was popular but I was very surprised to pick up the last one in my local Tesco in a light shade! I heard lots of bloggers had picked up darker shades as dark as number 6, but I managed to pick up a number 2!
When I opened it I was so chuffed and couldn’t wait to trial it! I’ve swatched the pencil for you and after wearing it a few days I am fully prepared to report back my findings.
The first thing that would strike anybody about this is the bloody gorgeous packaging! This is dressing table worthy packaging if I ever did see one! How frickin amazing is this design?!
The gorgeous slick silver with black outlined pink writing and the crazy lid make for a very aesthetically pleasing product, it’s the first eyebrow pencil that I have personally seen of its kind and it really makes it stand out. 10 out of 10 to Benefit for this fabulous piece!
SHAPE
The pencil itself has a pointed end to fill in every nook and cranny and the shape allows you to create a defined brow. The actual full sized product is double ended with a spoolie on the other end but I can live without that for now.
COLOURS
The colour range goes from 1-6 and I got shade 2. I would have preferred shade 1 but as I got it in a magazine I didn’t really have a choice but I did manage to make it work.
APPLICATION
The very first application to swatch it was hard as it didn’t draw very well but after a few strokes it glided nicely. It applies so nicely to your eyebrows and instantly fills for a quick and easy eyebrow fill!
It makes quick work of filling your eyebrows which is fab if you’re in a rush in the morning.
You can go for it and really fill them in solidly or you can apply a light hand and fill them in to look more natural whilst still ensuring you get any gaps. So it’s a very versatile product.
WEAR
This lasted me allll day im talking from 8am to bed time when I remove my makeup and this does not budge one bit yet it is easily removed with makeup remover.
OVERALL
This is definitely a fab product and worth the £4.10 I paid for the magazine with the freebie. Would I pay £18.50 for the full size? Probably not but that’s only because I cannot afford to spend that on a brow product but if I could afford it I definitely would.
Everything about this product is fab including the packaging!
I am very jealous of all of the bloggers that received the huge boxes full of the new Benefit brow products!
Have you tried this yet? What did you think? Let me know below!
