So this month I actually cancelled my subscription to Birchbox as I just wasn’t bothered about what they were offering this month but I obviously didn’t do it on time as my box came anyway!
The box has a super cute design which I did fall in love with a little bit – I don’t want to throw it away its just too sweet! I love the little bag you get your products in too! (This is my first box as last month it was the bag)
To say its the “Beauty junkie” edition I thought there would be more makeup/nail varnish/face products but there were only two makeup products in each box.
Huygens Exfoliating Cream which does smell lush – I think it’s a citrussy smell which is fine as I love citrus smells! It’s apparently gentle enough for everyday use an is supposed to prep your face before you apply makeup then rinse it off. I only use face scrubs once a week as any more irritates my skin so I will see if this lives up to its claims.
Kebelo Clarifying Shampoo claims to deep cleanse and rejuvenate which I could do with using as I use a lot of product in my hair. It says to use once or twice a month – this sample size will probably last me two washes if I’m lucky as I have a lot of hair.
Rituals Fortune Scrub is for the body – not going to lie I’ve got body scrubs coming out my ears as I hardly ever use them (maybe I should start?!) and I always get them in Soap and Glory kits at christmas (they seem to shove them in with everything!) so I have a lot to be getting on with so I am disappointed with this one and to me it doesn’t seem like a “beauty junkie” product!
Lord and Berry Blush in Lotus is a small sample barely big enough for my brush but a decent size to get a feel for how it is. It’s a gorgeous colour which says it suits all skin tones and I am excited to try this! I love Lord and Berry lip crayons so I am expecting this to be good. I love the monochrome packing but a tad disappointed by the plastic hold for the blush pan.
The Balm Cosmetics Desert Bronzer is super cute but its so small that I’m not going to be able to get my brush over it! I understand they have to send sample sizes but this is a little too small if you ask me! It looks a nice colour though and I am looking forward to trying it (if I can get my brush on it!)
Formula 10.0.6 Overnight Success Spot Minimising Patches full size were my extra beauty bonus. I’m pleased with these as I suffer a lot of blemishes and if these live up to what they claim I will be a very happy bunny! You get 21 single use patches too so I can really get a sense of whether these will work well for my skin.
Also got some emoji stickers – not sure what I’m going to do with these?!
Overall I will use most of these products so I am happy with this box and it’s a great way to try out new brands without committing to full size purchases!

I see what you mean. You get one or two great items and then the rest aren’t so great. I do like how your products came in a cute bag.

Yeah! It’s funny how different the U.S. Boxes are from the UK ones!
