Naked 101. No, this isn’t a naughty post don’t worry, this is your ultimate guide to the Urban Decay Naked Palette collection. This is my kinda “send nudes.” If you want the lowdown on the entire Naked Palette range, then you’ve come to the right place as I’ve written a guide to every single one so you can compare and contrast your favourites.
I was lucky enough to have been sent the entire Urban Decay Naked Palette collection (the biggest blogger pinch me moment ever) and I’ve put together a post with every. single. one.
It was dreamy to do I tell ya. There really is a palette for everyone to suit every taste (apart from bright colours, cos’ then it wouldn’t be Naked, but Urban Decay has other palettes for that!)
Quick Review
The quality of the formulas remains strong throughout the entire series – the mattes are smooth and blend easily whilst the shimmers and metallics are buttery and pigmented. The staying power is evident in all and they last you all day. An investment well worth it IMO!
Urban Decay Naked Palette
Starting off with the OG Naked Palette. Containing 3 matte shades, 5 metallics and 4 shimmer shades, it’s the ultimate nude palette of dreams.
It has a brown suede feel lid and cardboard packaging with NAKED adorned in gold on top. The one and only palette with this packaging, I think it feels really luxe despite it being cardboard and one of the most underrated Naked palettes IMO.
Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette
Number 2 to the game was Naked 2, which has all shimmers bar 2 matte shades and has cooler toned browns and bronze shades than it’s original counterpart, plus some smokey blue and grey shades at the end.
The first palette to come in metal tin packaging with muted gold colouring and NAKED imprinted in brown. These shades are great for the ultimate nude and smokey look.
Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette
Number 3, the Naked 3 palette is the rose gold lovers palette of dreams. It boasts 3 mattes with the rest metallic and shimmer shades in pinks, rose gold and golds.
The second palette with metal packaging with a rigid textured pattern, pink colouring with rose gold imprinted branding.
Urban Decay Naked Smokey Palette
Naked Smokey was the first one to not be given a number and contains, you guessed it, smokey shades.
It has 4 matte shades all on the right hand side, next to metallic and shimmer shades in cool toned silvers, blues, purples and browns for the ultimate smokey look.
The first palette to come in sturdy thick plastic packaging with a smoke effect print and 3D raised branding.
Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette
Not in the Naked Vault, but the latest member to the Naked family is Naked Heat. I was sent this separately but as it’s still a Naked palette and a member of the family, I wanted to include it. It has an unprecedented 7 matte shades, 4 metallics and 1 shimmer.
All warm toned oranges, reds, bronze and Burgundy shades to create the ultimate heated look. Another thick plastic palette with a mirror in the lid, rigid textured fire effect pattern and raised NAKED branding. See my original review of this here.

Overall
The Naked palette’s are up there with one of my absolute favourite palettes of all time. UD pull it out the bag every single time with each Naked palette they add to the family. My favourite? Naked Heat is a firm contender because of the warm toned goodness, Naked 3 is also up there because, well, pink and rose gold and we all know that’s the way to my heart, but I’m also drawn towards the original Naked because I think it’s really underrated and has some beautiful shades and I love the unique velvet packaging.

I don’t own any of the Naked palettes. For some reason they don’t really speak to me. Naked Heat was tempting, but I already have similar shades in other palettes and I’m trying to use what I have (because I have too much already).

I have Naked Heat and Naked Smoky I adore the packaging on both I think they’re beautiful! Naked Heat is definitely my favourite because warm toned shadows are more me but I still love Naked Smoky just wish I could create nicer looks with it!
