When I heard Freedom makeup was coming to Superdrug I was so excited and couldn’t wait to make an order! I love ordering from Superdrug because as a beauty card holder you get free delivery and if there’s one thing I despise paying its delivery!
So I made a cheeky little order of some Freedom makeup as I’ve never tried it before but really wanted too especially as it’s Makeup Revolutions sister brand!
Here’s what I got :-
Pro Contour Stick in Fair
This nifty little thing is only £5 here. It is super convenient and I love the monochrome packaging.
As you can see from the swatch both ends have quite a matte finish opposed to a shimmer result which is perfect for any bronzed day time look.
Its quite subtle however and once it is blended in (I just used my fingers) you can barely see it. The highlight is a bit more pigmented and only takes a couple of strokes to show up whereas the bronzer needs lots of coats of it to show up. It’s a great size for the sides of the nose and the forehead though where you want contour to be more subtle. I love how the packaging has a handy guide on where to contour too.
Freedom Duo Brow Powder in Blonde
This is only £4 here which is a bargain for a brow powder. I struggle to find brow products that match my eyebrows and this is a very close match! When applied it makes your brows look naturally filled in, more so than pencils do. It can easily be applied using a brow brush (I use my Real Techniques brush from my eye starter pack). Definitely a great product and it has become a staple in my everyday makeup collection.
Pro Lipstick Kit Vamp Collection
This kit is only £5 here for 5 lipsticks so £1 a lipstick is a pretty great bargain! Its presentation in a box I think would make a great gift too.
The box is full of purples and reds. The lipsticks have quite a sheer effect so aren’t very pigmented and a couple of coats are required plus lip liner to prevent bleeding due to their sheer nature.
Left to right: Dusk til dawn, Dark Paradise, Intense Noir, Pure Vamp, Vamp Noir.
Vampy colours are great for the winter season and this is a great kit to get you started on some darker colour lipsticks.
Pro Eye Primer
This is only £2.50 here which is a mega bargain compared to some of the high end primers!
Like others I’ve tried its a beige colour but this one actually blends really well on the lids.
As for performance I’m not too sure yet – it doesn’t stop creasing but as for long wear I’ve not used it enough to be able to report back properly! If it’s any good though it’s a great alternative to high end primers on the market!
Has anyone else tried any of these Freedom products? What did you think? Let me know below!
Thank you so much for reading!
