This was my wonderful prize for winning the giveaway run by the beautiful Sarah Shireen – check out her gorgeous blog here! She sent the Mac lipstick of my choice so I chose the colour made famous by Kylie Jenner – Brave.
I love a nude lip and all bar one of my Mac lipsticks are in nude colours. I only have 3 as I don’t buy them even though I love them – the matte lipstick in Velvet Teddy and the amplified creme lipstick in Blankety plus the bright pink Nicki Minaj limited edition Satin lipstick in Viva Glam Nicki.
So I thought I’d do a review on the highly coveted brave.
It’s from the Satin lipstick range so it has a lovely creamy formula. The colour is a gorgeous nude pink and is perfect to compliment any subtle daytime look.
It isn’t as pigmented in the first swipe but two slicks and you’re good to go and its very buildable so you can really amplify the colour.
It’s super long lasting too – I wore it when I went for food and drinks with my friend and I didn’t have to reapply after a my meal it has staying power!
MAC lipsticks are on the high end beauty spectrum and are priced at £16.50 but they’re so worth it for a quality lipstick in the classic black tube.

I love Brave, it was the first MAC lipstick I bought about 5 years ago now, it’s been underrated until Kylie bought it to the forefront which is great because now everyone is talking and recommending it! Perfect for everyday too! x
