Natural Collection are a Boots brand that have been around for over 25 years and their products are high quality but low price so make for great purse friendly options.
They are really upping their game on the new release front and I absolutely love some of these products I am about to show you.
The lovely people at Natural Collection very kindly sent me a box containing a huge 8 products from their new releases to try and review for you all!
As always their presentation is on point – the products come in a sturdy branded box, with tissue paper and a little message inside. Most importantly they always provide product cards giving you step by step hints and tips on how to use their products!
First up – their eyebrow collection. They have a double eyebrow pencil with a crayon on one end and a spoolie brush on the other, a coloured eyebrow gel and a little kit with a powder and a wax complete with a mini spoolie and a double ended angled brush.
The product cards describe which product to use to get your desired finish:
The pencil is for a natural barely there look, the powder kit is for natural brows and the gel is for a heavier look.
Unfortunately as I’m fair, I need to use very light colours on my eyebrows, and these only come in medium brown and dark brown. I did try the medium brown and happily the pencil is a colour I can use but the gel is a bit too dark for me. The dark brown ones I will give to my sister as she uses dark brow products!
The pencil glides on nicely and fills in gaps so easily and the brush is great too smooth out any stray hairs. The gel is very pigmented and you only need a little bit to fill in brows and smooth them out. I didn’t try the powder kit as it was too dark for me
Every single item by NC is £1.99 each.
Last but not least – the highlighter sticks! These are the products I am most excited about and I could not wait to try these out!
These little sticks come in a blush colour, bronze and highlight. The product cards describe using each one for a different look, so I tried using all 3 in one go, but the bronze is just for bronze and doesn’t make for a good highlight but lovely for a subtle glow! The highlighter can be used with the other 2 products though!
They glide on easily and blend well using a sponge blender, and are very subtle but buildable. The colour of the blush is beautiful and the highlighter give such a precise highlight.
I tried to take a photo with the products on, but they didn’t show up very well on camera, so these swatches will have to do! They show the colour really well when swiped on but they are less heavy when blended onto the face.
These are also £1.99.
I love how accessible this brand are with some amazing up to date products that rival those of higher priced brands! Anyone can afford NC and that’s what makes it so fab.
