I subscribed to Birchbox for the first time because it looked exciting and I liked the special edition bag that came with the July edition! So this time it is a Birchbag! It’s a lovely sunny day today for once so I thought I would sit in the garden and have a good look through!

My bag came in mint green which is my all time favourite colour! The bag is a cute size to keep all your essentials in for travelling and it has a little pouch inside and with the added waterproof protection it is perfect for summer!
You get a selection of 5 items out of about 10 of which you don’t get to choose.
Firstly I was super excited to get a benefit Dream Screen which is an invisible silky-matte SPF 45 sunscreen for the face. I love Benefit and always want to try it out but can’t usually afford it so this is my fave item out them all and I can’t wait to try it! My face can get quite oily and I’m prone to blemishes plus I’m pale and everyone always needs sun cream so I can’t wait for a bit of sun (wishful thinking in England right?!) so I can try this out!
I was also excited to get the Balance Me Congested Skin Serum which calms, balance and soothes blemishes and blocked pores. I suffer from blemishes and am yet to find a magic cure so I’m hoping this is good – its £16 a bottle usually!
The next thing I can’t wait to try is Pop Eye Shadow Trio in Peach Parfait – the colours look perfect for summer and have a nice sheen without being too glittery. Is it sad I’m excited for tomorrow morning to try it?!
I also got Unani Body Treatment Aloe Vera which claims to do a whole host of things including sooth blemishes so I will definitely be giving it a go!
The next item I wasn’t too thrilled for as I would have preferred to get some other items such as the makeup sponge as I have always wanted to try one! Parlour Moisturising Sea Salt Spray for tousled textured waves – I have been meaning to try beachy waves for the summer so now I have a reason to give it a go!
It also contained what I believe to be a headband which I probably won’t wear…
All in all it was a good box and I will be trying out next months!
