So apparently it’s national nude day… So what better way to celebrate than with a post about the new Rimmel Kate Moss Nude Lipstick from the new nude collection. It consists of 5 shades of nude lipsticks and nude nail polishes.
After trying out 3 of the shades (the only ones they had in the Boots I was in), I picked the purpley brown one which is shade no 45. There was a chart on the stand which showed you which of the shades will suit different skintones:
I chose no 45 as as my skin tone is very pale and this is the only one I thought suited me so the chart was pretty accurate! Although the ones that will suit all skin tones I can’t imagine no 40 or 48 suiting me as 40 is very nude and almost blends in with my skin and 48 is too brown for me I don’t suit brown colours with no other colour tints in.
This is what it looks like swatched on my hand:
It’s a very Kylie Jenner-esque colour! It reminds me a bit of the Mac Velvet Teddy I’ve been lusting after so I’m happy I’ve found a similar substitute!
The packing is pretty and suits the collection well! It goes on nice and creamy and it’s quite matte which is how I like my lipsticks.
Generally the Kate Moss lipsticks I find are fairly long lasting and I’ve found only need reapplying after you’ve eaten!
It’s Β£5.49 at Boots with all Rimmel products on but one get one half price! So a pretty good price for two Rimmel items.
Thanks so much for reading!

Love it! As soon as you said it’s a great substitute for Mac Velvet Teddy, it was added to my wish list. I’ve been looking for a cheap substitute for so longβ€οΈ Olivia xx
