Body care is definitely underrated within the Beauty Industry IMO but one that I find gets a lot of use in my beauty routine. Marks and Spencer have launched a new full service body care range called Lifeology, which has a range of different scents and every product you could ever want to fulfill your body care routine.
Within the range there is a body butter, lip balm, hand & body lotion, hand wash, ultra concentrated hand cream, 2-in-1 body lotion, body wash and bath foam. Each has a lovely and witty name and the whole range is finished with a watercolour design in the colours that represent the scent.
I was very kindly gifted the Lemongrass & Thyme range to try, which is designed to invigorate and refresh the senses. Ideally use this in the morning to uplift you and leave you feeling focussed. The lemony and sweet smell of lemongrass mixed with green thyme, make the perfect combination to leave you feeling awake and refreshed in the morning.
Let me break down each product with a mini review:
Quick Dry Body Butter, £8
This has a gorgeous thick consistency but with a whipped texture so it really does dry quickly. It’s soft and velvetty and doesn’t feel at all greasy. This is my favourite body moisturiser at the moment!
Smoothing Lip Balm, £3.50
This is a lovely balm which is not at all greasy and it feels soft on the lips and smells absolutely incredible! Well worth picking up.
Ultra Concentrated Hand Cream, £3.50
Wave Your Hands in the Air, what a delightfully named hand cream. This is a little guy with a lot of gusto, a concentrated hand cream which has the consistency of a balm with an opaque finish. You don’t need much and this super soft hand moisturises dry hands really well.
Fragrance Burst Hand & Body Lotion, £4
For me, a pump bottle hand cream is the perfect kind as it’s so easy and convenient and perfect for in the bath room or at your desk at work. This is the perfect consistency when you need a quick and easy hand cream fix, as it isn’t greasy and it dries quickly. Perfect!
Fragrance Burst Hand Wash, £4
Hoorah for Hands, what a lovely name. This is a generously sized hand wash in this gorgeous scent which you can still smell on your skin afterwards. What more could you want from a hand wash?
2-in-1 Body Lotion, £4
This is a lotion with a thin consistency which is great for when you want a lightweight and fast moisturiser with a other delightful name – You’re a Smooth Operator.
Fragrance Burst Body Wash, £3.50
This is one of my favourite products in the collection because this has genuinely made me feel so much more awake even on those horrible early, cold and dark mornings. It’s a genuine miracle how this has made me feel after using this in my morning shower! It lathers up a treat and the scent lingers in the bathroom for ages after your shower. It’s priced so affordably too I’m so shocked at how good the price is!
Fragrance Burst Bath Foam, £4.50
Lots of beautifully fragranced bubbles in a very generously sized bottle for less than a fiver, you can’t go wrong really (if you like baths, anyway)
My favourite picks
My favourite picks from the Lifeology Lemongress & Thyme Collection have to be the shower gel and the body butter. The shower gel because of how amazing it makes me feel in the morning, (which is a miracle in itself) and the body butter because it has such a lovely and soft texture. The rest of them are super lovely and I adore the whole collection!
Other scents in the Lifeology range
If Lemongrass & Thyme isn’t your jam, there is also Waterlily & Pink Pepper and Vanilla & Orange Flower. I can’t wait to try the Vanilla and Orange Flower next! They have some super cute gift sets in as well which would make lovely presents like the Hand Cream Trio, the Pink Gift Selection and this Twin Rack.
Have you tried any of the Lifeology range yet? Let me know your favourite product in the comments!
