Whenever a celebrity launches a makeup range, I can be sceptical at first as to the quality or formulations, so when I was asked if I wanted to try some of the Divine Lips lipsticks from the new Joan Collins Timeless Beauty range I was very intrigued to give them a go.
When they arrived I was blown away by the beautiful packaging and the gorgeous colours I received. I’ve tried them out and I have to say I am impressed with the results!
Dame Joan Collins is an English actress, author and columnist. One look on her website showed me her passion for beauty and the tips and tricks she learnt from being on countless film sets lead her to create her own brand of beauty that aims to:
not just to inspire women, but to provide them with the tools to feel and be beautiful at any age.
To me, her experience is what makes the brand and you know she knows what shes talking about!
The gold ridged tube with the brand embossed on the inside when you remove the lid is beautiful and looks and feels really luxurious. Joan’s initials are carved into the lid for an extra personal touch to her brand.
I was kindly sent the colours Evelyn, a beautiful bright pink, and Bella a gorgeous cool toned baby pink. There are a vast 18 colours in the range of pinks, purples, corals, orange, reds and browns.
The formula of the Divine Lips Lipsticks are very creamy and moisturising and application is effortless.
The shape of the bullet allows you to fully fill your lips whilst staying in the lines and create a seamless edge. I was very impressed with how it applied!
The colour pigment of these lipsticks is amazing you only need one swipe for a gorgeous bright colour.
The benefits of these lipsticks are that they moisturise the lips and fill in any fine lines. They have been tested and proved to improve hydration levels in the lips after 30.
Hyaluronic acid ensure lips are kept nourished, soft, protected and hydrated. They have a subtle sheen finish without being shiny.
They really did feel moisturising on the lips and are very comfortable to wear. I noticed no transfer onto my chin when I ate and they lasted well after drinking too. You won’t notice you have these on!
I was really impressed with the application, finish, feel and longevity of these, as well as the stunning packaging! These are a great option for summer as they are hydrating when the sun can dry your lips out and the colours are perfect for sunshiny days!
You can purchase these from M & S for £18 each which is a affordable price for a luxury lipstick that boasts added benefits of hydration.

Very pretty colours. I really like how classic the packaging is too. I’ve never tried any of them but they sound good, especially with the moisturising benefits.
