Winter Hair Care | Picks from All Beauty

Hair needs as much TLC as skin does when winter rolls around and the weather gets cold. Wind and icy cold air can be harsh on the hair and you need to give it as much care and hydration as you can.

So switching up your usual hair care routine for winter is a must and I’ve rounded up my favourite picks from All Beauty* for caring for your hair in winter from washing to styling and wanted to share them with you.

All Beauty has a great range of salon quality hair care at lower than RRP prices you won’t find anywhere else.

The obvious place to start is with a decent Shampoo and Conditioner. That’s where the TIGI Bed Head Urban Anti-Dotes Resurrection range comes in. Designed for even the most damaged hair, it gets to work moisturising and cleansing and means existing damage as well as providing thermal protection against future damage too.

To go one step further, give yourself a deep treatment at least once a week with the TIGI Bed Head Urban Anti-Dotes Resurrection Deep Conditioner. Apply to the lengths and ends and leave for 3-5 minutes for a deep treatment. It helps repair damage done my heat as well as the cold air which makes it the perfect winter treatment. The whole range smells absolutely incredible, just like sweeties, and leaves hair feeling and smelling amazing.

To style your hair use something that is guaranteed to hydrate – a nourishing oil spray. The Biolage Replenish Oil Mist contains all natural ingredients and can be used on all hair types. It replenishes softness, smoothness and adds shine. You can use it on wet hair before blow drying, on dry hair overnight or added to a conditioner. The packaging is 100% recycled, 99% biodegradable and used no artificial colourants so it’s kind to the environment too.

To finish off, you need a heavy duty to keep the frizz at bay especially when the air is wet, as I don’t know about you but the winter air sends my hair haywire! The Living Proof Frizz Humidity Spray is the perfect finishing product to guard against winter frizz and  protect your style. It also has UV and heat protection as an added bonus. You mist this evenly throughout, brush through with your fingers and apply a final spritz.

In between washes we could all use an extra touch up, especially as winter seems to get super busy with plans and parties, you can always do with an extra fresh boost. The Catwalk by TIGI Transforming Dry Shampoo removes oils and refreshes the hair whilst adding volume. Spritz on the roots, let it absorb and then brush out. It has a pleasant refreshing scent and doesn’t leave a white residue on the roots as it has a dry formula but not one that’s drying on the hair.
